How we review an enquiry
We first check whether the requested product, application and acceptance criteria are sufficiently defined. If a key parameter is missing, the team may ask for the operating wavelength, link environment, installation method, fiber standard, connector interface, polarity, cable length or applicable test limit. This qualification step helps prevent a quotation for a visually similar but technically unsuitable item.
For custom cable, patch-cord, splitter or assembly requests, include a drawing or a marked-up reference when possible. State which dimensions and test values are mandatory and which may be recommended by the supplier. For replacement products, provide the original part reference together with the interface and performance requirements; a brand name alone may not define compatibility.
What happens before an order
A commercial response should identify the proposed construction, quantity, packaging, destination and schedule. Depending on the product, confirmation may also require an approved drawing, datasheet, sample, test method or inspection requirement. Educational pages on this website describe common choices, but only the documents accepted for a specific quotation define the supply commitment.
Files, privacy and corrections
Send only the technical and commercial information needed to evaluate the request. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal records.
